Soft Laser Venoso: intravenous laser therapy

Devamed intravenous photobiomodulation: low-energy red laser light delivered directly into the bloodstream, with a regulatory effect on metabolism, microcirculation and the immune system. It is a Class 3B laser device, intended for medical and paramedical staff.

Mechanism of action

Low-power red laser light is conducted through a sterile single-use optical fiber directly into the cubital vein. It acts on the rheological components of the blood, on the oxygen-binding property and on mitochondrial function, with a regulatory effect on metabolism and the immune system.

The treatment is performed in a medical practice like a standard infusion: the sterile single-use cannula is inserted into a vein in the forearm and connected, via optical fiber, to the reusable patient adapter linked to the laser unit. At the end of the session the fiber-and-cannula kit is disposed of, while the adapter remains part of the device, ready for the next patient.

Frequently asked

What clinics ask us most often

Who is the Soft Laser Venoso for?
For medical and paramedical staff. It is not a general aesthetic device: the procedure involves inserting a cannula into a vein, so it must be carried out by qualified personnel. Typical settings are medical clinics, phlebology and angiology, physiotherapy, sports medicine, dentistry and veterinary medicine.
How does it differ from the LED panels?
The photobiomodulation panels work on the body surface with LED light and are intended for professional aesthetic use. The Soft Laser works intravenously with laser light and is a medical device: audience, setting and requirements are different.
Which versions are available?
A desktop station with touch screen and three portable pen versions at 50, 100 and 150 mW, supplied in an aluminium case. The portable versions include a training course and protective eyewear.
Is the single-use kit included?
The optical fibre with pre-mounted cannula is sterile and single use: one kit per patient per session. The proposal also states the supply conditions for the kits.

The clinical indications listed are those declared by the manufacturer. The device is intended for medical and paramedical staff and its use remains subject to the professional’s assessment and to the applicable regulations.
